Cls Passenger Seat Query

Hi, Hope you can help, seat moves up and down, back moves fine. Just won't move forward. Looked under the drivers seat and it has a motor attached to the rail. Looking at the passenger seat I have a wire unclipped. Not showing a motor under the seat, had the car 3 months and only just went to adjust the seat. can anyone tell me please if a motor should be insitu or is it just unclipped. First picture shows driver sideTseat, further 2 show passenger seat. Thanks.
