CLS Roof Strip

My CLS has two long plastic strips that run up the side of the windscreen and all the way along the roof. When I had the windscreen replaced, the fitters removed them. I am looking to do the same while giving my car a thorough cleaning - the rubber edging collects wax and I am worried that machine polishing may trash the rubber hence why I want to remove them.

From watching the windscreen guys, they just seem to clip into place but I did not see how they removed them.

Anyone know exactly how to remove/replace them?

i have no idea how to remove them, but if you dont want to trash them when using a pc or rotary just mask them up with water resistant masking tape.Purchase from here!

Yeah, but it is a really flush part so hard to tape up.
