CLS steering wheel controls

I recently bought a cls 320 2006 and after a week of owning this car the control buttons on the steering wheel shut down including the horn and I have no idea why ,can anyone help me with this.

Clock spring failure possibly.
You really need to get the car on STAR and get the error codes read.
