Guys have a W219 CLS, I believe they call it the facelift ?
Its an 09. Anyhow, I noticed one of the rear lights had what looks like a small bulb out - Ive heard these called LED rear lights? question is how do I sort this ? is it an easy job and are the bulbs readily available or Dealer only? - thanks in advance.

Rear lamps are not replaceable individually, you will have to get a complete light unit.

The lamps are high pressure type leds and can explode if incorrectly handled.

With just the one out I would leave it...

Ah bummer - this will send my OCD into melt down - how much is a new light unit ?

Approx £200

People have repaired these units themselves, have a Google. Not easy to get the correct leds or access the pcb etc..

I think Ill just live with it then, due to change my car in December anyway.

Do you have a link? That part number is too short and the closest I can find on EPC is for a LAMP SUPPORT, STOP LAMP, LEFT A2198200111 (MB price approx £50)

Item number 262324167985

Typo on part number A219 820 01 11

This may be useful for people in the future :)

Interesting .. That is the lamp support.

Perhaps this is the official led replacement? Could save others £££s

Let us know how you get on with it.
