CLS320 Start/Stop button problem.

Hi Guys

My CLS320 has the start/stop button on top of the gear selector, and this has developed a fault. It will not work at all in the park position, if however I move the lever to the right as if to talk it out of park, it will work most of the time but not always. Is there a cable that runs up to the button that may be causing this?

Yes, the cable is the most likely cause. I assume you do not get any messages when you press the button on the dash.
