CLS500 Noises

Hi all
Now in to week 3 of CLS500 ownership and totally loving it.
Can anyone shed light on the source of weird whirring/motor noise that seems to emit from somewhere behind dash or drivers foot-well area? Its not constant and seems to be steering wheel position related. Could there be any servos or motors in that area? It happens well after the steering wheel motor has finished moving wheel to driving position.

just Googled SBC unit!!! What a minefield. Anyhoo - will pop bonnet tonight and have a listen. Happy to live with noise as long as it does not pack in entirely

+1 for SBC . You get used to the noise eventually.

Duo valve for aircon, is the temperature in the cabin ok, just had mine fail, and replaced under their 1 warranty
