CLS500 - transmission problem - shake & judder like cold start

Hi all - I'm new to this site,, though, hope there's some help out there!

My CLS 500 (05) has just started to judder and shake when it's cold like a car 20 years older than it is... Has anyone else encountered this problem and - if so - do they have any help they might offer on a solution.

MB main dealer say they can't help!!! Couple of independents have no clue either. a couple of US forums have mentioned it's an inherent and unsolvable problem...

Any ideas/similar experiences?

Hi,welcome to the forum,can't believe mb main dealer say they can't help,insist(especially if the car has full mb history)the least they can do is hook it up on star for you to see if any fault codes are logged(could be something simple like a dodgy lead/plug but you need to get it on star before wasting money on what it might be,good luck & let us know how you get on).

At what speeds does it do it? Gear dependent? Temp dependent?
