I'm buying an expedition defender so I'm looking to see if there's any interest in my amazing CLS 55.
She's a 2005 so cheaper tax bracket.
Ideally I'd like to keep the both as they are the perfect couple - something powerful and comfortable and something rugged and capable but it's not really practical....plus I want to use the defender as a project and build it up to my own spec.
I love every minute I spend in the CLS! I bought it in Nov last year and since then have done:
Replaced front shock
Service B
Gearbox seals
Two new rear tyres
Replaced gearbox electric plug
Front and rear dash cams (professional fit - Speed camera & lane assist features)
Bluetooth module
There is also remaining warranty until Nov.
FULL SERVICE HISTORY - Whenever something needed doing it was done! Someone at Merc-Care commented that they had never seen a car with such a well documented history (thank you previous owners!).
MOT to 25th June 18. There were no advisories.
There is a tracker but that will require a subscription.
This car also has daytime running lights that double as fog lamps. I personally think these look great and were installed by the previous owner (who is a member on here).

Everything works on this car. The heated, dynamic, massaging seats are a pleasure to sit in on long drives.
The bodywork is in excellent condition for the age but there are some stone chips on the front. I was planning a machine polish but I'll leave that up to the next owner now. There are two small pressure dents - one on the passenger door (that only I can see apparently) and one by the o/s headlight. These don't detract away from the car at all.
The previous owner really cared for this car and I followed suit. It has done some miles (141k) which may seem high to some but this car has never put a foot wrong with me and never missed a beat.

Being totally standard, it has an exhaust note that says it means business...get it above 3000 rpm and you really know about it! The guy in the new R8 certainly didn't expect it to be as quick as it is but we won't talk about that here
She only drinks Shell V Power and personally I don't think MPG is that bad. Up to 26 mpg on motorway, 13 mpg around town.
I would guess if you're reading this you already know about these cars, but if you want to know something not mentioned here then please let me know.
I would prefer this to go to another forum member who will continue to look after her.
Looking for £8,500 - It's a hell of a lot of car for that!
