Gave the engine bay a freshen up today. The alloy was looking tied so gave it a coat of graphite grey which looks factory fresh . image-256028564.jpg image-1242112982.jpg
Going to clean the rockers when I do the plugs .

Nice job, what did you use for the AMG writing? Was it painted by yourself?

Sent from my iPhone using MBClub UK

Was just going to ask the same thing! :thumb:

Sorry I forgot about this thread
I did the supercharger in heat proof graphite grey
And the AMG inscription is satin black acrylic
put on with a small square sponge , you need
a steady hand and take your time as imperfections will stand out ;)

I'm sure I've asked you this on your e55, what products did you use to clean up the engine bay first?

Hi jimi , try G101 apc , with a brush to agitate
the nucks and crannies , and rinse with a hose or
damp. microfibres , j always spray my engines with wd40 or similar to remove any moisture and
add some protection :)

Thanks both!
