Car
CLS 55 AMG
Plan on going CLS shopping in a couple of weeks, as bonus comes through this month.

Anyone thinking of selling up?

Mileage not too much of an issue
FSH either dealer or specialist
Good condition
Not too fussed on colour but prefer black if possible
Single slat grill is a bonus
Ideally unmodified but wouldn't mind a map / x-pipe

Thanks :)

i know of a nice one with low mileage. Black with black leather etc

Exactly the one I was going to post, seems a good buy, quite good spec, and low mileage for the age.
But something that the O/P might want to consider is that 06 registered CLS55's are quite a lot more to Tax than a 55 plate, my CLS55 is on a 55 plate and is still a 2006 model car yet its cheaper to tax (I don't believe there was a 2007 model 55, it would of come out late 2006, 55's were replaced by the 63earliest of these being on a 56 plate with a 807 build code). So the last model 55 was a 2006, and would have build code 806
I think for this reason the earlier 806 model cars will hold their price more than the later 06 plated 55's.

^ To add to the above post, any car registered after 23rd March 2006 will pay a higher rate of duty (£490 pa)

Saw the IWC one, looks very nice and not too far - anyone recognize that car?

There weren't many of them. If the owner still has the IWC watch which came with the car when new then try to get it included in the deal for extra

I'd check the VIN. I don't see IWC on the centre console. Speedo could be retrofitted.

Genuine IWC CLS55:

I always thought the paint and leather colours were unique to the IWC.

Yeah, unless it's a retrofit. I guess you cannot tell from eBay car as the angle doesn't confirm anything. I'm probably gonna go see it this week if I can get a hold of him.

I am sure it's the same car from Nottingham that was for sale at £20k last year. Had 66k miles on the clock back then.

Really? What makes you think that, V8 Kompressor badge the wrong way?

How was the condition of that car, he says it has full service history. I'm just thinking, it's a bit too low pricewise..

Possibly an Ebayer Scammer - he has no sales history or feedback rating. Looks like the same car, be careful as it looks like the pics in the current advert are taken from this old advert here (some photoshopping / editing). This car was for sale in Nottingham. It may be the same car but why £10k cheaper now? -

Ok so no reply yet from him, but with a bit of research have found it is a mirror image of a car which is on google image search, the plate is MY55KMR. Anyone recognise it?

His reply

Hi again,

I made the photos in the UK because I wanted to sell the vehicle back when I was in the UK. Because I did not sell it, I took the car with me here in Finland. Now I am trying to sell it back to the UK because it is still registered there.
I placed an Uk listing location because I want all my potential buyers to know that vehicle will be delivered in England and that they don't have to come personally to pick it up from Finland. The vehicle is still registered with the DVLA in the UK . You have the HPI document along with the car's VIN, which is more than enough for you to make research about the car.
Considering that I am located outside UK and we can not deal in person, I suggest to use the security provided by SPM Logistic, because they have a great exchange program. To find out more go to their website SPM LOGISTIC - International Shipping Solutions and read the material, it's a 5 steps process and it's all described in there.
The transaction will be fully under SpmLogistic.com surveillance, giving us both security and insurance that nothing will go wrong. This way you will actually pay for the vehicle after reception and inspection, considering that the funds will be held and released to me only after you accept and confirm the delivery. Do you think a 7 days inspection period will be enough ? Within this time frame you have to decide if you purchase it or not. If you decide against the purchase you will be fully refunded without any added charges to your account. The vehicle will be returned to me if you reject it upon inspection, but I honestly doubt this will happen.

Thank you and let me know,

Stay away guys. :)

I would take a good look at financial background of SPM LOGISTICS, ignore their smooth looking website, look at the financials behind them!! I would be looking to buy in the uk!
