The only chance it has of making even vaguely financial sense is if the buyer had exactly the same taste in modifications as the seller. That's going to be a pretty narrow pool of customers.

Located in Bournemouth. Never seen it although it looks like my old E55 parked next to it at BOTG a few years back.
Not to my taste, and a reserve of more than £6k with it needing a new engine is extremely optimistic.

A bit less on modifications and a bit more on servicing would probably have been beneficial

Somebody paid £8K for it. Add £6.5K (worst case) for the engine rebuild, assuming that the seller is correct about the engine problem, and that's £14.5K for it. The winning bidder has big cojones, I think...
