Cls63 5.5tt remap or not?

I’d rather have no holes and conrods that don’t bend.

would,nt we all, Lol, buy a M113K engined car then, such a solid engine, but perhaps not as powerful as the modded BiTurbo cars, but definitely more a consolidated engine design, cars, , so many sleepless nights;(

Cant imagine a remap causing coil packs and spark plugs to go unless its been done badly. Go to a reputable tuner and get a custom map done. The remaps are designed to work with standard components and not affect reliability

My car is at 109hp per litre (1.6) lmao, been months since I remapped it no problems. I had my previous car remapped too by the same people.

It's too soon to give a detailed rundown on my remapped M113K. Before the work it was electric and could run with anything on the road. Now it goes batshit but I have no worries about reliability. Phil my dynoman reckons the M113K can go to 700bhp and/or 7500rpm. I didn't believe him until he told me 3 times.

I assume your dyno man is referring to changing the supercharger to a bigger Weistec along with suitable cooling and mapping?
Another owner of a Weistec tuned CLS (not any more) had 700+bhp from the M113k.
Here is his 2015 for sale post
CLS 55 Weistec Stage 3 for sale

Its a £10k+ hole in the wallet upgrade though.

We weren't talking about how to get to the xtremes. His point was that the M113K is so robust that it can take as much shit / £££ as you want to throw at it. I'm happy with the map. Don't want to go Weistec, pulleys etc.

You won't get 700bhp out of a M113K without going to extremes, that was my point.
If you are happy with just a map, thats great. But there is a lot more in that engine without going to extremes.

I'd be interested to know what the spec of your car was, before re-mapping, to "run with anything on the road". It's bold claim to have to agree.

For your car we can offer a handheld tuner which allows you to flash the car via OBD by yourself. The same tool allows you to flash back to stock anytime. You can repeat this process as often as you want and it’s fully invisible.

I doubt that it is "totally invisible". I'd strongly suspect that there is a flash count in the unit that gets updated on each flash and can be read out, indicating how many times it's been flashed. I'm open to correction from someone who knows more.

I wouldn't want to go down the Renntech DIY route. I was with my specialist every stage when he did my custom map on the dyno.

I don't think this is a bad thing, given that the map has been well productized and tested on numerous vehicles. I think the more extreme maps might need custom tweaking, but one that doesn't go to extremes should probably be quite ok. The ability to reflash the stock map is quite a compelling one, especially if your car is financed and you have to return it to stock at the end of the contract or for any other reason.
