cls63 secondary aux battery dead

Hey guys,

do you know how often these secondary aux batteries fail? just bought the car from and indi garage and a month it, its coming out with secondary aux battery malfunction. the car is 3 year old with 20k on the clock. I have a warranty cover with WMS, do you know if this would be covered? am giving them a call on Monday.

Just changed mine at 8yrs old. Should last a lot longer that but depends what you've been doing with the car. There's constant drain on the battery so they do go flat if parked up for long periods. Also the garage should check there is no drain before changing the battery

thanks Chris. ive only had the car for about a month. I just checked and the car still has 3 months mb warranty as it is still under 3 years old. Will phone and check with dealer tomorrow. thanks
