GTG on Saturday 2nd October in Clumber Park, Nott's. Meeting from 11.00am onwards. Full details can be found on this thread messages number 95 & 80 show the maps.

Edited to remove myself, as will be unable to make it due to imminent birth of second child !! I know, I know, the GTG is more important - just wasn't able to bring my wife round to this way of thinking for some strange and bizarre reason !!

Borrow my motor and take her for a blast.
That way, I'm sure she'll have the baby within hours.

I also won't be able to make it unfortunately.

The 2nd is my sons 4th birthday and I will be attending his party.

I'm sure a kids party full of 3/4/5 year olds will be a lot more refined than a meeting with you guys but I have to be there

I knew when the date came up that there was something I should have remembered but being a single bloke I forget my own birthday sometimes.

i`m fairly new to all things M/B like these GTGs having had my car for a little over a year now i would like to meet up with like minded people, plus its a good excuse to give it a run!
also being new is there any sort of dress code? ie club jumper / baseball cap?
hopefully will come along, if can get out of work early
may bring wife although shes not all that bothered.
please accept my appologies in advance for the poor state of my wheels, saving up to have them recon.
hope to get some modding inspiration too !! :bannana:

yup - deffo welcome - do come along. Wifey also welcome will be quite a few ladies present - self excluded before any of you start!!

Dress code - whatever you're comfy in and also watching for the weather of course it's nothing smart - heaven knows what we'd do if Denim had never been invented

But it's a great opportunity to meet like minded people and pick their brains on what you might do mod wise and what to steer clear of also!

getting excited

only two and a half days to go!!
spent some time this morning cleaning out car, it didnt really look that bad till i started, dont know were all the dirt comes from!!

i suppose i will have to work on the wheels of shame part, but hey whos perfect?
