Im sure a coathanger is cheaper. Mine are posh, they are 316L food grade stainless welding rod....


Yes, the hanger is a lot cheaper and so are the wiper blade metal strips, it's just that these seem to have exactly the correct angle & sized hooks. And what about the moulded grips? ;) But, I got to admit 316L sounds far more impressive! :D

I bought a comand from MBenzNL about 10 years ago and this set was included in the box, as you say a great purpose made tool... he also included the official mb long wedge tool.:bannana:
 
ive always undone the bottom panel and pushed from behind , safer to make sufe nothing chips off!
 
As Alps I have always pushed the cluster out from behind, as I have seen some nasty damage done to the cluster from the incorrect use of the pullers.
 
Good tip on the push from behind method. I have used pullers before, not a pretty sight when they lose grip.
