clutch master cylinder

hello everyone i apologise in advance if this is not the correct forum to post this in but i cannot find anywhere else to post about this.

w639 111 2.2cdi 2005

my clutch master cylinder recently started leaking and small amounts of brake fluid started dripping onto the floor, i have been trying to use the van as little as possible since until i could get a replacement cylinder.

it started leaking more so bit the bullet went to my normal supplier got an FTE clutch master cylinder, got home stripped off old one, unboxed new one and they are different...looked on various different sites all show the one my supplier sold me as the w639 111cdi clutch master cylinder.

The old one has a hole in the top that the grey pipe (im assuming return pipe) went into and was secured by a clip, the new one has a nipple style valve on it no hole.

i would appreciate any help as the van is now off the road and im fed up lol

Take your Vin# into the main dealer and they'll get you the correct part.
Hopefully, your supplier will refund you for the incorrect one they sold you.
