CO2 neutral delivery

just had a delivery via dpd and on the address label it said CO2 neutral delivery. this item came from Inverurie in Scotland to me in rural Norfolk so how can that be CO2 neutral??

No because on the return journey, dpd have to deliver the tree

If it's that easy to offset our carbon consumption, what are all these people worried about? Instead of spending a fortune on developing new technology and power sources, and taxing everything they can think of to pay for it, I'm sure it would be cheaper just to let us continue using ICE and going everywhere by plane, as long as we all plant a daffodil every time we take the car out . . . .

That's why the delivery took such a long time to arrive. The driver stopped in Glasgow, Carlisle, and Leeds, to plant a tree.
