COD MW2 ex eBay

I know I should know better but I bought the above game off eBay.

It's a kosher set but I keep getting an error message about being unable to contact the Steam server.

I have disabled AVG but that made no difference

MW did say that the key had already been activated on another Steam account but I re-set it to my account and that bit seems OK now.

Any ideas chaps?

Why not... MW2 is excellent. I'm still hooked on MW3 at the moment...

Despite knowing the most about these games - I only use them on PS3!

The only thing I wonder is wow do you know for sure you've successfully added it to your account?

I suspect the ebay seller did - even if he or she didn't Id put a request in for a refund.
