Coil Spring Compressor - Rent/Borrow

Does anybody have the proper spring compressors that I could borrow or rent for a couple of days, as I want to replace the top rubber bushes

Thanks, but have you tried to use them on a W210, there is no room for external compressors as I have a set and tried

There is a member on here (Wongl or similar name I think) that used to hire the MB/Klann style compressor set for something like £10/week.

Deposit required to hire?

I need to rent a spring compressor for my E300 TD, the MOT was a fail and I need to replace the spring Perch's.

I've only been a member on here for a few months (only owned a Merc for a few months) and not posted before. I'm just wondering how I could rent these off you and what kind of security you would need.
Sorry for the public post, but I can't PM till I've posted 30 times, I don't like spammy posts so thought it best to be upfront and post here.

hi wheels in motion and any other who can help, i have just joined this marvelous forum and as i have not had 30 posts so can"t pm as yet. i was wandering if the spring compressors you had posted were still up for hire as i need to replace front springs on my 190e 2.6 and have tried with conventional type and failed (gave up) arggg! for safety reasons and keeping all 10 fingers ! many thanks mark doherty mob (07813)804472
