Coilover question.

Hello my new friends, I have recently taken ownership of a 2006 c220cdi, the car is fitted with prosport coilovers, by a previous owner, they are less than a year old, so I am not going to change the set up just yet, my question is, which end of the rear springs does the height adjuster fit, is it the top or the bottom (they chose to not fit them to get the car as low as possible, which is too low for my liking)? Thanks.

If under the coil there is three rings then the adjustment would be done from the lower ring. If there is only one ring then that's the adjuster but changing that will also change the pre-load on the coil ( not good )

They're not on the car at all yet, I wish to put them on to raise the suspension a little, I just need to know if they go on top or underneath the spring. Thanks.

If you are referring to the MB rubber shims, i believe they go on the top.

No I mean the adjustable platforms that that come with the coilovers.
