In honour of Mark, we closed the forums yesterday in his remembrance. We would like to thank everyone who donated.

We are making a collection for a funeral wreath and any surplus funds will be donated to Leukemia Research (The family's chosen charity) - If you would like to donate then please send a donation via Paypal gift to [email protected]

The below picture is one I have kept and never really published, it is how we remember Mark, Kind, generous and helping others with his skill and knowledge. The below picture is Mark working on a Mercedes Benz.

Funeral details.

Mark's funeral will take place Thursday 4th February 13:20 - Arrive for around 13:00. Ockendon Road, Corbets Tey, Upminster, Essex, RM14 2UY

The wake will be at the Jobbers Rest - St Marys Lane, Cranham, Upminster, Essex, RM14 3LT (over 14's only allowed in the public house - sorry).

Please could everyone who wishes to donate, mark your payment as a Gift. This way, paypal will not deduct any fees and more money will go to charity.

Since the gift feature of paypal is often overlooked, see the screenshot attached to show how to send it as a gift; just click "send money" tab, then "Personal" tab, then fill in the To and the Amount and click continue. hope this helps. (see red circles)

No - it's not going directly to a charity that can claim back the tax. Perhaps the OP can do that when he makes the donation..

This is exactly what will happen.
When we have finished collecting, the money will be transfered to the chosen charity and giftaid applied at that time.

Thanks again to everyone for their support and for those who made it to the funeral. MBClub would also like to especially thank everyone who donated.
