Collection in late August for 1st Sept registration...

I have placed an order for a new C63 AMG, I was impressed with the revised model shown at Geneva, and this will be my daily driver when I am in the UK.

As advised in the title, collection will be from the factory, and the main spec items are as follows:
Performance Pack Plus
AMG Limited-slip Differential
19" AMG Alloy Wheels (Black)
Heated Windscreen Washer
Intelligent Light System
Automatic Climate Control
Electric Rear Roller Blind
Side Airbags in the rear
Command Multimedia
Reversing Camera
Surround Sound System

There are a number of other minor cosmetic items, AMG mats, etc, but I would appreciate advice on whether I have missed anything essential out? The colour is Palladium Silver Metallic, but I am thinking of having it wrapped in a matt white wrap! Interior leather is black.

Looking forward to your advice/comments.

you have the money to spend but white does show the dirt up easily perhaps a matt black or gunmetal colour may suit the car better, just a thought.

Good man Brian - that Geneva show car really did show off the new model well didn't it! I came back from that show buzzing - and very ready to get rid of the Porsche (which I have now done and am extremely happy with my current chariot...slower, yes...but so, so much more satisfying)

Nice spec too (other than I would of course go for the diamond white which is the nice metallic white that they had at the show) - PPP, diff, 19's, ILS, Comand, HK....it's all there!

Have MB UK released the prices and option availability for the new model yet? Their website isn't updated...just wondered if there were any new interesting options that were available, particularly telematics wise?

I got a call from MB Birmingham this week telling me they'd got the details for the Q1 campaigns....must resist, must resist

Quite an eclectic bunch, we had several Morgan's - AeroMax, Aero SS, 4/4 Sport and a Mog Three-wheeler on order! Bristol Blenheim 3S, Honda S800 and the wife has an Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari.

I want to rationalise somewhat so the 4/4 Sport and S800 are going, so is the Aeromax. I want to buy an older classic and so may consider selling the Bristol too.

Will let you know how I get on.

Thanks Andrew, they have given me a price for the base car (up 3.4%), but no idea of accessories. The Dealer put me off a white car a bit, saying it would probably be hard to sell second-hand.

I hope you like the Masser, we had one and loved many aspects, but found it rather large for a daily driver (and a bit under-powered, it wasn't an S!). Swapped it for a 911 C2 PDK, good car but a bit bland. Also, we really need a true 4-seater.

Hoping the C63 hits the mark...

You should both meet up and take some photos together when you collect.

Alcantara headlining, leather on door tops and center console .. I think.

Thanks Charles. I guess with your name a Morgan is a good choice, no relation to the other Charles Morgan I guess? It seems my AeroMax has sold, subject to the guy selling his car, so making progress towards my plan to have an older classic car. Shame what has happened to Bristol, let's hope they make the cut...
