thanks to Koolvins nice high res pics I can play with the images. I decided to have a go at "photoshopping" my SL

I got rid of the annoying peppermint coloured thing behind my car - gave it a respray "Bic Biro" blue, then added the rims from Wheelies car - what do you reckon ?

So much for the saying “The camera never lies”?

I work in I.T. (hardware mainly) and am very impressed with that. Nice one.

You might not like this; but that blue looks good <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

Anyone please feel free to have a play with my 180 image and post the result <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Cheers <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

The blue is nice - but possibly too much for an SL - its more of an SLK colour

I've had a cheap piece of software for about 5 yrs that came free with a graphics card, I've messed about with it for a while repairing old B/W photos, and converting them into colour. So I thought I'd have a play with the car <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Could play with the image of your car  - but a higher res starting point would be better.

Thanx Mark,

Look - I'm using them <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

So which colour was it originally?

DSC00028.JPG

or

green.jpg

Also, which looks better?

or

<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I reckon they both look good
- but I think maybe the blue one is the original

Mark

Correct, as they never made a W140 in a colour like that...

They did make it in that blue however. <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

That was what I based my conclusion on! I have seen the blue colour before but never the green - and i dont have a clue about which colours apply to which models!

However it was ultimately confirmed by the blue photo having the original camera &quot;DSC&quot; filename - and the green one having the filename &quot;green&quot; <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Mark

I thought that might be a giveaway, but couldnt be bothered to change it... <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
