What do you guys make of these? Now available for bikes in a choice of colours...only a matter of time before they hit the car world too I'd imagine.

They look good !

Wonder what they are like to keep clean though, once they have been driven on for a while . . . wouldn't look so great with a black streak around the part that contacts with the road !

Think they would suit bikes better than cars though - with the exception of a few choice cars, I guess !

I believe the colour goes right through the depth of the thread. :)

yeah - realise that - was thinking of the ingrained road-"muck" that would no doubt accumulate . . . but for show purposes, they are great ! (I'm sure I had a BMX bike with blue tyres many many years ago !!!!)

Coloured Tyres

Black rubber actually grips better than coloured rubber. Tyres companies discovered this many years ago, which is why white-wall tyres were just white-wall and not white tyres.
I 'spose some people might want to try silv... :rolleyes:
 
The reviews on these tyres seem very positive - Maybe they've got round the grip issue.
