Anyone know what the last release for firmware was on a 2.5 comand unit and what features if any it added?

Latest release came out around October last year and adds ECO route, fixes loads of bugs and crucially allows map updates to be done.

Is firmware the same as software and how can one tell which firmware version is installed? I presume this is not the same thing as the map version?

Before I do anything foolish and beyond my intellectual capacity, how do you then exit the engineer's menu?
