Comand 4.5 update March 2014

Thanks guys for all the help, Mercedes Benz Sheffield where I bought the car did a free update to v.11 for me, even gave me an amg sport coupe c250 for the 4 hrs to cruise around! Nw am hooked to swap mine!!!!

I did the firmware update (Telematics 03/2014), and then the map update - now displays the progress bar properly and is happily installing as I type.

I'm pretty sure my dealer did a firmware update at the last service 3 months ago.

Given the need to update the firmware, dealers will be even less chuffed to install this map update as it will take up a workshop bay and voltage-stable-charger for 4 hours.

Please share more info about the Telematics DVD you used to update the HU ? parts number ? ... as I want to update my Gen2 NTG4.5 using SD4 & Xentry

I used what Mercedes sent us and the Star Diagnosis asked for (which it now checks on-line to find what is appropriate for the head unit). There is new firmware update with 05/2014 too, but no idea what changes from the one with 03/2014
