comand DVD 2008

E bay has some adverts for Europa DVD 2008 platinum edition issued on 9/10/2007 with a part
number B67823879.
It seems to cover

Is this an update on the version 7 for the E series or is it an early release of the 2008 version?
How does it differ from version 7?
Does the "platinum"edition offer any enhancements over the regular version 7

It seems rather strange as there have already been two releases in 2007.

I am in the process of upgrading my maps and want to ensure that I get the latest version.

Has anybody any information on this?

Not sure about the quoted release dates on the German forum. I got my Version 7 (2007-2008) disk in August.

No idea about the 'Platinum' version though.

Still in terms of being up-to-date the only road change I've come across that Comand didn't know about so far was a missing roundabout just outside Swindon (where they were still clearing away the heavy plant!)

I've got the latest comand dvd for C class - V8 2007-08 and if your are referring to the flyover over the roundabout by the Great Western Hospital - it is still missing and Comand want me to take the roundabout as it doesnt know the flyover exists.

Still - it's a bit disconcerting as you drive merrily over the bridge and then "she" says, "Now turn left"!

It also missed a One Way in St Pauls, Bristol on Friday but seemed to cope with all the others. (Mine is the APS DVD version)

I tihnk there is a version 9 out now for the C.
