Hi and I apologise in advance for what may be a common question. I've got a W215 (55) and the sat nav is not performing as well as it should, it's very slow to react when programmed (slow to add searches in come to mention) and the screen image will only move / scan / zoom when already zoomed in. The screen map disappeared to a blue edge one day ! So I'm wondering if the disk is the wrong one or scratched to hard to read. How to I tell what system I have installed and what disk(s) is correct, I looked through threads here and I'm more confused now than before. The disk in it seems to be genuine Mercedes but certainly is not the original as its dated 2009/2010. If its the wrong disk would this explain poor operation ? Help appreciated and one day I'll contribute back to the site, especially if it's diesel mechanical !
