I wanted to ask whether anyone has experienced the issue I’m having with my COMAND unit?
I have an ML350 W166, 2014 plate. The COMAND unit has satellite navigation and DVD player etc. I had a reversing camera system fitted after I bought the car.
I am not sure but I think the model is COMAND APS NTG 4.5 or 4.7.
Recently, the COMAND keeps saying that it is switching off, and then it turns off. It then turns back on again and then off, almost non-stop. It’s now essentially unusable. There are no battery issues on the car.
Is this something that might be a software issue, or if it’s hardware (which I feel is more likely because of how it suddenly switches off sometimes), might it be repairable?
