COMAND NTG2.5 Not Reaqdingt SD Card

The only partitions I know anything about are stud walls... You're well beyond my IT skills there, but if somebody will tell me how to do that, and how to get the COMAND to tell me it recognises the partitions, I'll give it a try.

Use a laptop and partition magic or windows own program. you can make each 2 gig section into a stud wall .

Okay, I used a Chinese free programmme called DiskGenius (scanned with Defender first), and my 4gig E drive is now E and F Drives. What do I do now to see if COMAND recognises it? It did before, but only displayed part of the contents.

Loaded one partition with 1.6 MB, COMAND displayed the lot, so yes, partitioning works. However, I loaded the second partition and COMAND still only displayed what was in the first, so if and how it could be persuaded to detect and display that second partition I don't know, and I think never will, because I'm where I want to be already.

I don't think that the outdated COMAND unit is that clever, I think it will always read only the first partition of any SD-card that you insert.

You may be right, but none of the other, higher-capacity, SD cards are partitioned, and it would not read any of them fully.
