Comand Problem on CLS55

Hi All,

I'm having this annoying problem with my comand system. The whole system seems to "reset" itself (by reset, I don't mean a full reboot with the logo etc). There's a sort of a static sound, the display blanks (still on the blue screen), loses the mobile signal, loses navigation and music. When it comes back, the navigation does a route calculation and the music comes back on.

This happens intermittently, sometimes several times within few minutes and sometimes once or twice during a 20 min journey.

The Navigation DVD is a genuine one from mercedes and I've tried it without it as well.

Any ideas anyone?

Most likely an issue with a device on the MOST fibre optic ring. You would need it put on STAR to check what device is causing it.
