could someone confirm does a 210 820 56 89 comand fit in a ml as been told it has no cam bus so it does if so is it plug and play or do i need to add speed wire

No it wont. well it will physically fit but electronically it wont work.

The 56 89 unit is the last of the e class units and expects to see a CANBUS signal which the ML (W163) does not have.

You will either need to swap it for the A163 820 36 89 unit or get a decent CANBUS emulator to make it work.
