Hello All,

I was just wondering if the existing COMAND 2.0 in my CL can be upgraded to a later version whilst retaining the rest of the components on the fibre links (Bose amp, CD Changer)?

In addition, is there a digital radio kit I can install to my existing COMAND (or upgraded unit if possible) which integrates neatly with the radio rather than going through Aux etc?

I will be removing the centre console to have it refinished in CF so thought it could be a good time to do it.

Thanks in advance. :thumb:

Depends on your budget and the age of the car.

email me the full vin and we can give you some idea of costs and the work involved.

I would also be interested in that, although I spoke to Mark (Alfie) at Comand a Forum Trader, he said the only way was to use an after market !! I don't want to change the existing appearance.

As you are going down the CF route it won't look so odd IMO.

Sorry I didn't see Alfie's reply

Thanks Alfie, I will do. The car is at the bodyshop at the moment so will send you the VIN when I get it back later this week.

I'm also not too keen on going down the aftermarket route, the Chinese ones that look similar don't really fill me with confidence and don't really fancy converting to double-DIN.

Want the car to look as standard as possible but a little more modern hence getting the wood hydrodipped in CF. :thumb:
