Hi all,

Is there a procedure to update from V7 to V12 or is it just install and update?

Install and update.

If your E/CLS is pre MY2007 facelift then there is a seperate update for the head unit which will then also give you ETA permanently present on the map screen when navigating if required - but no requirement to do this
