Hi,

Need some assistance with my W210 Command 2.0 system, I had to remove the system to fix the antenna cable. By moving the system out 2 cables Brown and Brown/Red popped out of one of the connectors that fit in the top socket into the command unit.

Picture attached pointing out the socket.

Atm theres a yellow and a blue cable wired into the connector,

I have no idea to where the other 2 fit in, could someone post me a photo of their connector?

Thanks

Brown: pin 8
Brown/Red: pin 9

Do not short these together or get them the wrong way round. Its the car's "computer" network - everthing needs this to work properly..

Hi Richard,

Thanks for this, since the cables popped out the command didn't switch on with the ignition. I've connected them back will test tomorrow as the battery is completely drained.

Oh btw are those cables to activate the command with the ignition?

Nice one hopefully tomorrow we'll know if its all good. Thanks again.

Thanks guys all sorted ;-)

Another problem since the wiring issue the navi doesn't work. GPS works as it displays the longitude latitude but the map and cursor fails to move it's not updating as i drive.

Checked all the wiring to the command nothing out of the blue,

Any ideas?

Have you connected up the speed pulse wire properly. This is a common issue on these.

Is that the yellow or blue cable going into the socket?

Nope. Its sometime blue, sometimes pink. It goes into C2 pin6 and/or C pin 1

Without it connected up the Comand wont operate properly in terms of moving the cursor. You can find it (if its not on C pin 1 already) in the passenger sill on a blue connector coloure black and green.
