Command address book says full

For reasons lost on myself and despite deleting 18+ addresses, my Command Unit insists that the memory is full or the address is already in use when I attempt to add a new one. (The conforunded addresses I am trying to input have never been inputted by me before).

I have tried removing and replacing the Command Unit fuse, hoping thereby to cause the Command Unit to 're-boot' and clear any gremlins........it didn't work. Is there a solution?

I have not got command, but with my satnav I can edit the address and just deleting the street name etc does not release the location for another use, I literally have to go to a different area and delete the whole location to free up the space. Rebooting the system does not affect this so perhaps it is the same on your system? GL
