Command APS Firmware Identification

Hi

I am just trying to work out what Firmware version the Command APS in my 57 plate E280 CDi has and whether it needs updating. The ETA is always displayed at the bottom of the screen and the Traffic Annoucements have a bad habit of cutting in whether TA mode is on or off. Is there a simple way of checking the firmware version?

Not sure about the actual firmware version, though THESE PEOPLE will know.

You should be able to check the map version (I believe the firmware is updated when the maps are?) by doing the following: -

Press the COMAND controller.

Select Navi in the main function bar by turning the COMAND controller and press to confirm.

Select Map Version and press to confirm.

The number of the map data version is shown.

As for the traffic announcements, try pressing and holding the volume mute button till it "bongs".
