Command in ML W reg 2000

Hi

I have recently bought a command unit for my ML320, I have searched the forums and cannot make any sense of what i will need to install it. There is currently a very basic radio/casstete. I have attached photos of the unit. With one that i have labelled . I would very much appreciate if anybody can help me , with the bits i need to install it (where i can get them from) and if it is stratight forward process(or not!!)

I have been through a few posts but they seem to have conflicting info, and not all specific to the ML, any advice would be appreciated or a point in the right direction

The W163 has none of the canbus data that most 208/210 comand units require, so for the purposes of this installation an ML is the same as any other car; the installation is basically a headunit swap with additional GPS antenna.

I have a W163 comand unit in my W202

I'm no expert but don't you need a speed signal??
