I have a Mercedes 814D truck for my tree business. Its a 95 M plate, and does not have enough oomph. I used to have a later Vario model with an EDC engine, that had plenty of power, so I know that this one is lacking.
DOes anybody know of a good diesel doctor that could lok at his for me (I am in North Wales)

Has anybody fitted the later type engine as fitted to the atego range (up to 170hp) into an older 814? Reckon it would be what i'd like to do, as I've spent a lot of time and effort getting this truck into beautifull condition, and dont really want a newer truck...
