Compatibility between Blaupunkt CD changer AO5 and Audio 10CD

Mate has or will have an E220 Cab (96P) which currently has a Blaupunkt Hamburg RCM 104 head unit driving a Blaupunkt CD Changer AO5. The idea is to replace the Hamburg head unit with an MB Audio 10 CD.

Will the MB Audio 10CD work with the Blaupunkt CD Changer AO5? Did the W124 ever have the fibre optic cabling?
