I spotted this the other day...

Should we tell him he's got it wrong?

(BTW the blob int he centre of the bumper is actually a chip in my windscreen)

.

Its probably been into a bodyshop and they have badged it up wrong during the repair process...;)

This is because W202/W203 Merc badges come complete with "CLK" lettering when ordered as part of the pack.

Judging by the exhausts, I'd guess it was a diesel anyway, so not even a 320...

On W203s the petrol engines and CDIs have the same twin down pipe design for the back box except for models with the sports packs…

Good bit of observation there though by yourself though...

Weird, didn't quite get it at first until I looked at the picture twice!

Saw a similar thing on a W203 Estate, badged CLK200 Kompressor. I guess both cases are likely to be bodyshop repair issues. They generally line-up badges the wrong way & on the wrong side so wouldn't put mis-badging past them.

Who really thinks they could fool someone into thinking they've got a CLK with badges alone!

As Flash stated all petrol models (bar the sport) have the downward pointing exhausts.
