This morning Mrs Dave SWMBO suggested that the UPVC on the outside of the conservatory needing a good clean after the winter rains etc;:wallbash::wallbash:

I set to work with some Cif & a non scratch sponge & yes it worked however the surface has lost much of its lustre .

Are there any conservatory or UPVC specialists on the site that are able to recommend a good rejuvenator that will restore the gleam back to white UPVC?

What does the trade use ?:dk:
or
What cleaners have other members used ? :dk:

Just see who in the local area sells upvc fascias and pipes etc and get some High power cleaner from them last I bought was about £7 for 5 litres. Will be pressure washing and doing our upvc in a few weekends time

As above I have found the entire range of HG cleaners and service materials to be top notch stuff, highly recommended.

Solvent is generally not great at removing ground in dirt on white Upvc. All it tends to do is take away the surface dirt and seals in the rest.

The best products are the white cream with admixture (like a fine abrasive) that gently works away at the dirt. A little like Ajax of old.

I've used (and recommended) a few HG products now and found that they are one of the few that actually do what they should.

Their mould remover is ace, if anyone has a bathroom ceiling which gets mouldy it really works and the mould doesn't return.

Have you tried Traffic Film Remover? - will get you a good base to start
