Every now and then you see something that combines understated elegance with quiet authority.

    Irresistible.

    But I'm not sure about the colour... <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

That car must go fast... it doesn't need wing mirrors <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

In this case would &quot;ground effects&quot; mean the damage you do to the low-down bits when parking nose-on to the kerb?

    Awesome-looking motor, though.

Not my style really, but quite cool if you like that thing. <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

The body is a real bargain - $24.00.
It's actually a radio controlled model...
    Perhaps I didn't do the irony loud enough in my post. <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

There's a whole way of life going on around these things, race competitions etc,

I had no idea until I stumbled across a link to HPI racing.

Not how I would want to spend my time or money, but you have to admit they're pretty good replicas - except for the absence of wing mirrors, as Steve noticed. <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
