The last one, first thing I would do is remove the rear lights and replace with standard. The second one looks very clean. First im considering but what are peoples thoughts on red C63's?

I like the red - makes a change from black, white or silver.
But Fire Opal has potential issues.

Red C63 looks nice and has the performance pack :) I always think the Exx class is a bit too large.

The 14-plated E63 at Evans Halshaw start off at £20k, then went to £19800 a couple of weeks ago. I like it. Slightly less common colour and it's de-chromed, which I like. Agree about the smoked rear lights, though. Ugh!

As per other comments on here, prices for V8's do generally seem to be on the way down but there are still a few optimistic souls out there, God bless 'em!

Was very interested in the Evans Halshae E63. However, it has 3 Mercedes Services upto 2018 and then the paperwork has apparently been lost when the car came in. Probably why the price has dropped so quickly. It would be mad to buy one of these without recent paperwork.

If it's been serviced by a reputable garage, dealer or indie, I would expect the digital service history to be available. If there is no digital service history available, you'd probably be right to ignore it!

I quite like the E63 with the correct wheels, the last 1 with his attemted light tints wouldn't even get a 2nd glance from me as for the C63 that has been for sale since August last year when he removed his plate and it hasn't got an LSD ,im sure I contacted him about it mid sept ,and you haven't had much luch with the C so go for the E if you can get past the taxi look rear end imo 🤣

Also ref the c63 I've noticed that alot are edition 125 which they seem to think means something, Well all it means is that they have a sticker on the glovebox and nothing else, edition 125 was for the lesser models which included a different infotainment system which the C63 has front standard 😉

Personally the mileage on the C is winning it for me. Those E classes, I don't trust that they weren't remapped at some point 🤣 I've got an E currently, they're quite big yes, I can't say how the non S handles but the S handles phenomenally,
I would pick a C with PPP and spend money on some sort of paint protection. Those red sears look great too

Avoid Fire Opal Red at all cost. Will have issues with paint blisters and then the fight with MB HQ to have it full respray etc etc with matching bumpers....

^^ This. Been there, with our previous car. Managed to get a good trade-in deal on our current S205 which is Hyacinth Red Metallic. So still red, but without the micro-blistering problem.
