I have a W210 E220CDI 1999 model automatic in constant limp mode,Display showing E.L Power Visit workshop.
Diagnoses showed INLET PORT SHUT OFF MOTOR open circuit. I took the motor out and the arm connected to it had come off.i have replaced the arm but the car is still in limp home mode.
By testing the wires going to the motor i can not find any current going to it even when ignition is on or the car is started.
Now the questions are
Do i have to get the code erased before the current goes to motor?
Is there a fuse for this motor?
How can i check that the motor is ok without buying a new one?
