Hi Guys has anyone else had the same issue I have.. I have what sounds like a brake scraping noise coming from both of my 2 front tires. I have replaced the discs and pads checked the geometry and balance but still get the noise

Check anti-rattle springs that should sit on pads. If mis-aligned then they can scrape and make noises.

Sorry should have also said that moving front wheels to back move the noise to the back

could be the disc shield bent & the disc is rubbing!?

No sadly not I have swapped the wheels from the front to the back and the noise is transfered there

Can you see any rubbing marks in the back of the wheels?

Did the noise come before or after the brakes were fitted?

before they are genuine discs & pads.. what's your thinking?

just thought maybe it was to do with the fitting, but I'm puzzled too!

MMMM I'm sure it is tyre related as switching the wheels moves the sound of course Conti say there is nothing wrong with the tyre!

i used to map cars on the side, should get it done for 300-350

What model of w211 do you have? If its a sport you'll have a staggered set-up and the rear wheels should be wider than the front. Are they stock wheels or aftermarket?
