I am also ex-Alfa (I've had 10 of them), but after I sold my last 156, there was nothing in the range that really appealed so I bought my W124 E-class (just sailed through its MOT, no advisories again - hurrah). I also a have a C-class estate, which we bought to replace an Audi A4 (latest shape) because it was so dull.

i had the giulietta which was a nice car and always reliable, never thought i would say that about an alfa !

problem i had was that i have a neck problem which also makes my back a problem and it just wasn't comfortable enough with the mileage i do.

All mine were very reliable too. In about 1/3 of a million miles, I only every got marooned by one puncture and one failed battery (German!).
