I've noticed when it rains the roof doesn't drain on one side into the little gulley and it then drips into the car when the door is opened. Any ideas how to clean it out please.

I had a similar issue on my clk. I opened the roof, poured a little water into the gulley and found that water was not draining. I used a plastic straw and just blew into it. I guess the blockage must have been near the top as it was all fine after that. I suppose I would have used compressed air if that did not work.

I did try blowing it with a straw but not with the roof open, maybe I'll try it again with it open, thanks.

Thanks guys, I'll let you know how I get on

Update ...only 4 months later!!!

Sorted it with a very thin flexible knitting needle.

I have some gummi pflege that I bought a couple of years ago to do the roof seals with, will it still be ok? I have one bottle I've opened with hardly any used and another bottle that's not been opened, thanks

A guy on one of the other forums (he has waxed his car about 5000 times - I kid you not - and lives for his car) says that he has a bottle that is 12 years old and is fine. I have a 8 year old bottle and it also seems ok. However I've just started using what all the manufacturers of convertibles use (Krytox - about £40-00 for a tiny bottle).

Thanks @Rorywquin , I'll use what I have and then will consider the Krytox

Probably easiest to stick with GP - Krytox involves a lot of cleaning of old gunk etc and needs to be carefully applied.
