'We got ourselves a convoy' crackling over a CB radio.
Anyway FYI BMW is calling MINI owners, of old and new to attempt to break a new record. The annual Mile of MINIs record attempt is being staged at the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire on 3rd October to help raise money for NCH the Children's charity.
The attempt will need 509 MINIs to take part so that the moving mile of MINIs will enter the record books. Each car involved is asked to raise £30 to become part of the record and history.
To take part (should you have a MINI as a weekend roundaround/second car) 01273 418100 entry fee of £10 per car and driver and £5 per additional passenger.
