I'm hoping that this is just an anomaly as the digital temps seem normal.

Coolant gauge decided to freeze upon turning car off the other night; yesterday decided not to move and then swing around to 120c - despite digital temps remaining constant?

Has anyone come up against this before with their own clocks? Car is only at 1300miles so will run it down to the dealer; just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas as it appeared from nowhere?

Apologies too as I think I should have put this in the technical thread....

Thanks - will do - just frustrating !! as I went from Merc to Audi in 2009 (Had a CL500 with No end of issues, new passenger airbag, new n/s headlight, new drivers sear) due to gremlins in build quality

Whizzed down to the stealers. Confirmed it's not a sensor and requires a new instrument cluster. Booked in after the silly season.
